Rachel Kennedy - founder

Rachel is the founder and principle mediator of Rachel Kennedy Mediation, as well as a parenting consultant and divorce coach. After a challenging divorce herself, she is passionate about providing other families with the tools needed for a Compassionate Divorce.

Rachel lives in the Minneapolis area with her kids and pets. She enjoys traveling, dancing, and playing with yarn.

Andrea Franz-shoff - associate

Andrea is a Minnesota Rule 114 qualified neutral in family law. She focuses her mediation practice on divorce, custody and parenting time disputes. Andrea has advanced training in high-conflict dynamics, step families, and domestic violence. Andrea enjoys working with parents on detailed agreements regarding their kids to help minimize future conflict. People describe Andrea's mediation approach as compassionate yet direct. She strives to ensure that both parties feel heard while maintaining a solution-focused environment. 

Carolina Gentry - Associate

Carolina Melguizo Gentry is a licensed independent clinical social worker who has worked in community health and mental care for over a decade. Carolina has a master's in multicultural clinical social work from Augsburg University in St. Paul in addition to a law degree from Colombia, her country of origin. She relocated to the United States in 2005.

Carolina is bilingual in English and Spanish and bicultural, which enhances her ability to connect with a diverse range of clients. She is passionate about helping individuals and families during periods of transition, stress, and divorce.

Carolina possesses extensive experience in working with multicultural, blended, and high-conflict individuals and families. Additionally, she has extensive training in conflict management and domestic violence, which gives her the ability to provide both expert and empathetic support in a wide variety of contexts.

Sheila-marie untiedt - associate

Sheila-Marie Untiedt is an associate mediator at Rachel Kennedy Mediation. She is a Neutral Mediator on the MN Supreme Court Rule 114 Roster, as well as a Parenting Consultant PC and Early Neutral Evaluator ENE. She helps individuals to resolve conflicts in the areas of divorce, child custody, family conflict, workplace conflict, and business conflict.

Cess Dungog - Executive assistant

Cess is an experienced Executive Assistant specializing in providing top-tier administrative support to senior executives. She is passionate about helping high-level leaders succeed by streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency. With expertise in managing complex schedules and daily tasks, she ensures that executives stay organized and focused on their core priorities. She works closely with Rachel as a trusted partner, supporting a wide range of functions to ensure the smooth running of Rachel Kennedy Mediation.
