A Parenting Consultant is a court-ordered service designed to support the highest-conflict parents co-parent to the best of their ability, while keeping the best interest of their child(ren) as the top priority. Please click here for more detailed information on this service.
Parenting Consultant - $3,000 retainer, $250 Admin fee, $200 per hour
This is the most popular service offered here at Rachel Kennedy Mediation. This process provides a high level of service from the mediator and support staff, guiding divorcing couples through all matters necessary to resolve a divorce in Minnesota. Included are up to 4 mediation sessions, access to the mediator as needed in between sessions, and a completed Memorandum of Agreement that parties use to file for divorce, with or without attorneys, according to the preference of the parties. Please note, there is NO LEGAL ADVICE given as a part of this process.
Mediated Divorce - $2,500
Some couples prefer to manage much of their divorce process independently and wish to have minimal professional support. The DIY Divorce Consultation is designed for those couples and provides two focused services: (1) a professional review of their prepared filings, with feedback identifying any areas that may be incomplete or require further consideration, and (2) a mediation session review the mediator’s feedback and address a limited number of unresolved issues. This service includes a file review conducted prior to the session, one two-hour mediation session, and a written summary of the issues resolved during mediation. This service is not appropriate for all divorcing couples and requires prior approval by the mediator. Please note, there is NO LEGAL ADVICE given as a part of this process.
DIY Divorce Consultation - $650
Some divorced people experience post-decree conflict. Mediation is the first step when resolution cannot be reached between the parties. In post decree mediation, the mediator will review the decree to get familiar with the case, and then there will be one two-hour mediation session to discuss the matters at hand. Please note, there is NO LEGAL ADVICE given as a part of this process.
Post decree mediation - $500 per session
